Gaithersburg, Maryland
Completion Date: 2008
$7,771,762 | 71,785 SF

The primary goal of this project was to increase teaching space within the building and allow for removal of the existing portable classrooms. A large classroom addition was designed to wrap around the north and east sides of the school and provide a corridor loop to improve the overall facility traffic flow. The addition was designed to complement the existing building fašade and includes Kindergarten, Grade 1-5, and specials classrooms. Two new courtyards were created to maximize daylight and provide outdoor teaching space. Upgrades to the existing building included a full sprinkler system and door and window replacement.
