The Community Building will be part of continuing development at Ballenger Creek Park and will feature a large meeting room to accommodate Parks and Recreation programs such as dance, gymnastics, and youth day camps.

An adjacent catering kitchen will also be available for lease to the public in combination with the meeting room. A teaching kitchen will accommodate cooking classes for adults and youth.

The building will be designed with sustainable materials and energy efficient lighting and HVAC systems.
