This study included development of addition options and associated costs for two different
programmatic scopes. Two schemes provide ten new classrooms and support spaces to allow
for elimination of portable classrooms and provision of full day kindergarten. The other two schemes
include the initial scope, plus five additional classrooms and a multi-purpose room and administration
expansion that would allow for 100 students to be transferred from an adjacent overcrowded elementary
school. Design goals for all schemes included minimizing impact on adjacent homeowners, providing
every classroom with daylight, and improving existing building circulation. |
