Full architectural and engineering services were provided to complete a new two-story elementary school south of Frederick. At the entrance of Orchard Grove's two-story brick and splitface block building are the administrative offices, convenient to visitors and students alike. Within the facility, we designed generous windows so that all 31 classrooms as well as art and music rooms are naturally well lit. Classrooms and other educational areas are positioned strategically by age and use.

The gymnasium is adjacent to the cafetorium, with a folding wall between to permit large assemblies. A full-service kitchen serves breakfast and lunch. All utility and equipment spaces were designed for ease of maintenance and the least disturbance to students.
