Interior Design for Dental Suite for
Dr. Weakley
Frederick, Maryland
Construction Cost: $1,000,000
Completion Date: October 1999
Square Footage: 11,000

This project consists of the design and construction of a one story office building with a brick exterior, utilizing large aluminum frame windows for maximum natural interior lighting. The building houses a total of three office spaces. Approximately 4,000 square feet of the total building was fit-out as a state-of-the-art dental office for Dr. Gregory Weakley.

The office was designed to be efficient, attractive, and comfortable for both the patients and the staff. A roomy, comfortable waiting area is visible from a large reception counter. The reception area is part of a large "operations island" central to the entire office. Record keeping, supply rooms, sterilization, the staff lounge, and business offices comprise the remainder this area. Exam and surgery rooms are positioned along exterior walls, each with it's own window to provide optimal lighting for dentists and hygienists to work in. Consultation Rooms and private offices are also found along the exterior walls.

The remainder of the office building is divided into two additional future office spaces to be fit-out at a later date.
