Originally constructed in the 1960s, the Coffman Nursing Home has been upgraded a number of times, including the addition of a new residence wing in 1998 designed by Proffitt & Associates.

More recently, we designed an addition featuring a new dining room to accommodate the increase in residents and a kitchen with state-of-the-art equipment. The dining room features large windows overlooking a garden and moveable partitions to provide privacy when needed.

Both additions were completed while the Home was fully occupied and close attention was paid to reducing or eliminating disruptions during construction. All new areas are fully accessible to disabled people.
