NEW VOLUNTEER FIRE STATION FOR:

CARROLL MANOR FIRE COMPANY

ADAMSTOWN, MARYLAND

COMPLETION DATE: ON HOLD

$3,282,000 | 22,425 SF

The Carroll Manor Volunteer Fire Company requires a new 19,000 square foot station in the southwestern portion of Frederick County to replace their existing building in Adamstown. The facility includes a command center, day room, weight room, apparatus bays, bunk rooms, locker rooms, offices, and a hose tower.

The design includes iconic elements such as the hose tower that identify the facility as a fire station and alludes to the agrarian nature of the site using large barn-style massing. Exterior materials were selected for durability and ease of maintenance, and include pre-finished metal roofing, split face block, and metal panel siding.
