RENOVATION AND ADAPTIVE RE-USE FOR:

FRED. CO. DIVISION OF PERMITTING

FREDERICK, MARYLAND

COMPLETION DATE: 2007

$2,276,000 | 22,238 SF

The lack of space at the County's main office building located around the corner at Winchester Hall drove the schedule for this project involving the complete interior renovation of an existing four-story bank building for use by the Frederick County Government. A gut renovation of the existing building took place to allow the use of systems furniture of the interior spaces of each floor, while retaining and renovating existing office spaces on the exterior walls. Existing walnut wainscoting, doors and door frames were retained and refinished throughout. A new ADA compliant elevator replaced the existing and a new security system was added.
