Nicolock Architectural Products expanded its architectural paver manufacturing to Frederick, Maryland with the construction of this facility. It is comprised of a 50,000 SF manufacturing portion and a 2,000 SF sales office. The manufacturing portion of the facility was designed utilizing a pre-engineered metal building to achieve the clear height and span required to house the manufacturing equipment. The 50 foot tall structure spans 171 feet with a single interior column to accommodate equipment. The equipment consists of aggregate and sand hoppers, pits and conveying systems, interior silos, and a drying rack with a capacity to hold 5,800 pallets.
