Proffitt and Associates returns to City Hall some 20 years after the initial conversion and adaptive reuse of the old County Courthouse. The interior renovation included a 2007 emergency replacement for the cooling tower and a complete renovation in 2008 of the basement to accommodate the relocation and expansion of the City’s IT and Human Resources Departments.

Exterior improvements included a complete repainting of wood windows, doors, and trim in 2008. Replacement of the slate roof and rehabilitation of masonry walls and chimneys was completed in 2009.
