The scope of this study was to develop options to provide additional classrooms and support spaces to Judith A. Resnik Elementary School. Three options were developed in response to the educational specifications. The preferred option consists of two one-story additions, one to the west of the existing kindergarten wing and one to the north of the existing building. The west addition includes a new kindergarten classroom, two pre-kindergarten classrooms, and re-purposing of adjacent spaces. The north addition creates a corridor loop and new courtyard and contains nine general classrooms, an OT/PT suite, support spaces, storage, and restrooms.
