Frederick Birth Center, Frederick County's first non-traditional birthing center, offers full maternity care for low-risk pregnancies. The facility is equipped with three birthing rooms that include queen size beds, birthing tubs, and showers, to allow for a variety of delivery options. The facility also includes exam rooms, a kitchen, a laboratory, and support functions.

The design was coordinated with a local interior designer, who created different themes for each birthing room while knitting each space together with an inviting and calming residential feel.
